About
I am Henna Mikkilä, an Airbnb host and a graphic designer with a passion for the beautiful city of Tallinn. I originally started this site to help my Airbnb guests find the best places in Tallinn, but now tens of thousands of others have found it. I hope you enjoy it too!
I have found all the restaurants, cafes, bars and attractions on my own trips, and I have tested them with my own wallet. I don’t do free meals or commercial articles.
So welcome to Tallinn with me! I am sure that with my help, you will find places worth a visit. The most popular stuff on the site are:
- The best restaurants in Tallinn – at least in my opinion
- Breakfast places in Tallinn. Save the list!
- The most atmospheric cafes in Tallinn.

Airbnb in Tallinn and Turku
In addition to travel tips, I am also happy to tell you about Airbnb accommodation. We have a second home in both Turku and Tallinn. They are on Airbnb for others to book when we don’t use them ourselves.
Cozy attic in the heart of Old Town Tallinn
In Tallinn we have a cute little attic apartment. A wonderful guest what in his review: “A unique home in a prime location. It is one of the most interesting Airbnb locations where I’ve ever stayed at”.
The apartment has been recently renovated and it’s decorated to be our holiday home. The high ceiling and support beams create an homey atmosphere. Our apartment is a peaceful home base, although the hustle and bustle of the city begins right behind the gate. This is our lovely holiday home, which we are happy to open to our guests when we are not there ourselves.
Click and read the listing of my Tallinn apartment in here.
If you open an Airbnb account through this link (and make a reservation), you’ll get a € 41 discount on your first trip. (This is a commercial link, as if you make a reservation then I too get a travel balance of 15 euros).
Modern two room and a kitchen in the heart of Turku, Finland
Turku Airbnb apartment is centrally located, only two blocks from the Market Square. The place was completely renovated a while ago, so it is modern, clean and comfortable. The sixth floor offers views in two directions.
The whole apartment is for the use of our guests alone. If you are on the move by car, there is a private parking space in the backyard of the house. If you were interested, you can see the listing here!
